The Story Behind the Name "8Cats.pet"

"What started as a simple desire to give a few cats a better home has become a transformative and love-filled journey. This is the story of how 8Cats.pet was born and what it represents to us."

A few years ago, our lives changed forever when we decided to open our doors and hearts to some cats in need. Our story began with two adorable cats, Simbah and Billy, who came to us at a delicate time. Simbah and Billy’s owner had passed away, and their fate was to go to a cat shelter. Without hesitation, we decided to give them a loving home because we believe that every cat deserves a safe and happy place.

Shortly after, our lives became even more colorful when we met "Menina," a wild little cat who, after two years of patience and dedication, we finally earned her trust. Her arrival was a true gift, but the best was yet to come. Menina brought an unexpected gift to our home: a litter of five kittens, the result of her first pregnancy.

The experience of helping Menina give birth and watching the tiny kittens being born was indescribable. It was a moment of deep joy and connection that sealed our fate as cat protectors. Now, our home is the happy residence of eight cats: "Simbah," "Billy," "Belinha," "Two Black," "Lolla," "Eight," "Bento," and "Menina"—each with their own story and unique personality.

8Cats.pet is not just a name; it’s the embodiment of a passion that started with a simple act of kindness and grew into a life mission. Each of our eight cats—Simbah, Billy, Menina, Belinha, Two Black, Lolla, Eight, and Bento—holds a special place in our hearts and in our home. They have taught us about unconditional love and the importance of caring for those without a voice.
